In this context, the Research and Development Committee is opening applications for 3 categories of Awards and Prizes. The winners will all be announced at the SECEC Congress in Munich - Sept 2024.

- Best Idea
It aims to highlight an outstanding innovation in the field of shoulder and elbow anatomy, physiology or pathology in Europe (diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation). Innovation, degree of development, feasability and benefits for patients will be considered.
The prize will be awarded to an unpublished non-patented idea. SECEC commits not to disclose, share or publish any of the ideas submitted for consideration. All applications will be evaluated blindly.
At stake : the winner will get the opportunity to present his/her idea and discuss it within the SECEC network. The idea could also potentially be highlighted in one of our educational activities (podcast/ webinar/ congress session).
- Best Junior
This award aims to recognise a Junior SECEC member who demonstrated particular merit in shoulder and elbow research. Junior members should be in their last year of residency or their first year after residency.
At stake : the winner will be hosted for 2 days in a SECEC Education Center
