How to join SECEC: requirements and instructions

Welcome to the application for membership of SECEC/ESSSE. Please read the instructions carefully before you enter the online application process. If you are in doubt please discuss your application with your local National Delegate.

Requirements

Members are elected into the Society by its Ordinary Members at its General Assembly (usually in September) each year upon the proposal of the Membership Committee after review of criteria by at least two members of the Membership Committee. In case of doubt, an advice to the national delegate can be asked.

Members must be up to date with their membership fees. The subscription to the JSES will be cut off as long as the fee remains unpaid.

All members have full access to the SECEC/ESSSE website.

Special requirements to become an Ordinary Member

To become an Ordinary Member you need to gain a certain degree of success in the field. To evaluate your achievements we have a point grade system: if your score is 30 points or above you're eligible to become an Ordinary Member .

For example: any scientific article (related to shoulder and elbow) in which you were involved and that was published in Index Medicus referenced journals will make you obtain 5 points.

Fee and Payments

You can pay your annual fee through the secured Paypal payment system.

SECEC will not keep your credit card numbers in our records.

SECEC will not refund the annual fee, except in case of double payment.
